- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪We were on vacation camping in Luray, Virginia for Labor Day Weekend when our 16 month old Labrador, Bella, became very sick. When she stopped eating on Friday and began passing blood in her stool we checked for a local veterinarian fearing she had eaten something she should not have (sock, leather, etc. as Labs do) and had a blockage. Contacted Blue Mountain Veterinary Clinic and they made room for us to arrive at 3:45 p.m. (again Friday of a holiday weekend. When we arrived the lobby was packed but we were able to see Dr. Kline. He diagnosed her as having an infection and gave her IV to replenish fluids as well as medication for the infection and anti-nausea and anti-diarrhea medicine. By Saturday morning Bella had her appetite back and by Saturday evening had returned to normal. Our experience with Dr. Kline and the entire staff was Excellent. We left the clinic feeling like even though we were not regular customers we could not have received better treatment. If ever in the area and need a Veterinarian this is the place to go!May 09, 2017by Don Maxwell
